Theses peppers are part of a breeding population between a wild collected plant in Mexico from Oaxaca, and an heirloom variety (Chimayo) from the southwest United states. The breeding population is being selected for tolerance to drought. They should be low-medium heat. The population is not fixed for traits yet, each fruit is unique.
