Persephone Farm is located on a beautiful piece of land in Lebanon, Oregon. Elanor and Jeff are down-to-earth farmers that grows in accord with mother nature's cycles, meaning they don't use green houses to get extend the growing season. They've been farming organically and sustainably for over 27 years.  Jeff's Allis-Charmers tractor has been converted and now runs on solar energy instead of fossil fuels. In addition to selling to restaurants and grocery stores, you can find them at farmers markets in Salem and Portland. Many of these photos were taken with film using my Hasselblad which seemed like a good fit to Persephone's analog philosophy of farming and living.
