Ayers Creek Farm is small scale, family owned farm in Gaston, Oregon. Anthony and Carol Butard are also plant breeders who have been developing varieties suited to their land. They are know for their Arch Cape Chicories, beans and Peace No War Corn. They also grow a range of fruits and grains including sour cherries, and frikeh.

    Ayers Creek farm has started a new tradition of parching fresh wheat each summer to make frikeh (freekeh), a middle eastern traditional grain. Once burnt the wheat must be dried or milled and cooked right away. Local restaurants who appreciate unique, local foods, love to add it to the menu during the season.
